ABOUT Jill Davidian
Hi, I’m Jill! I’m a 20 year veteran in the Instructional Design field (time flies!) and I’ve had my own Custom Learning Solutions / Training Development agency, with a team of Instructional Designers, since 2014. I am also the founder of the Applied Instructional Design Academy, the premiere hand-on Coaching and Mentorship program that bridges the gap between newbie and real-world, Corporate Instructional Designer. I received my Master’s in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University in 2005.
On the personal side, I’m a single mama to a teenage son, and an AVID traveler! I’ve been to 60+ countries on 6 continents and usually spend 2-3 months out of the country every year (yes, it’s possible with this career!)
I have also paid off $80k in consumer debt over the last few years and have been able to take care of my mom who battled cancer last year, which would have never been possible without the flexibility that this career provides.
I have worked with countless Training Agencies that hire freelance Instructional Designers, both as an ID and on the hiring side. I have seen it all, when it comes to getting into this field, and I am SO PASSIONATE about bringing all my years of experience and knowledge to YOU!
