This website is owned and operated by Learning Strategy and Design, a Texas company. Our principal place of business is located at 5900 Balcones Dr. Ste. 100, Austin, TX 78731. You must be at least sixteen years of age to use Our website. Use of this website is at Your own risk. We host Our site on a reputable platform and take reasonable efforts to maintain and secure it, but make no explicit warranties as to the safety of Your individual use. These Terms are subject to change at any time; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
Intellectual Property Notice.
All images, text, designs, graphics, trademarks, and service marks on this site are owned by Learning Strategy and Design or the properly attributed party, including the Applied ID Portfolio Method and related named frameworks. Use of Our intellectual property without permission is prohibited and may be pursued to the fullest extent the law allows.
Program Enrollment (AIDA and Other Paid Products)
The Applied Instructional Design Academy (AIDA) is a self-paced certification program. You can pay in full or on a payment plan. The options are shown when You enroll.
You may pause Your enrollment for up to three (3) months. While Your enrollment is paused, payments on a payment plan continue on their regular schedule, and Your program end date moves later by the length of the pause. A payment plan continues until it is paid in full, and cancelling Your participation does not cancel or reduce the remaining payments on Your plan.
Access to program materials, mentor support, and career services (while enrolled) is provided through AIDA HQ, Our member platform. When the program ends, You keep access to the lessons once the program fee is paid in full. Live calls, mentor reviews, assignment submissions and tools end with the program. AIDA enrollment also requires signing the AIDA program agreement, which governs where it differs from these Terms.
Refund and Cancellation Policy.
You may request a refund within three (3) days (72 hours) of Your original purchase date, minus a processing fee of three hundred dollars ($300), whether You paid in full or chose a payment plan. After that window, payments are non-refundable.
Purchases and Payment.
Payment is processed through third-party processors, including PayPal and Stripe (directly and/or via Our payment and checkout providers). Purchases made through those providers are also subject to their own terms. By purchasing, You authorize Us to charge the payment method provided, including each scheduled payment on a payment plan until it is paid in full.
No Guarantee of Outcomes.
Participation in AIDA or any of Our programs does not guarantee employment, a job offer, or any specific career outcome. Individual results vary based on effort, market conditions, and factors outside Our control.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability.
Our website, products, and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Learning Strategy and Design is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Your use of Our site or participation in Our programs.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
